Mom heartbroken over Infant's death, pleads with thieves to return hospital bracelets
An already-devastated mom's heart broke a little more this weekend when she discovered that her wallet, where she once kept her and her deceased son's hospital bracelets, had been stolen.
Now, she'd pleading with the unknown thieves to return it to her.
"I first hope that somebody does give the bracelets back, or, tells me where they’ve dumped the wallet," Casey Kilcup, of Plymouth, Massachusetts, told ABC News. "Those are the only two things we don’t have of him."
Kilcup, a mom of two, said she will forever remember the day her son Brison was born as the best day of her life.
"He was incredible," she said. "He was just the happiest little soul that you would ever find. We remember when he was two weeks old and he was always awake. He always wanted to see what we were up to, what the kids were up to.
"It was like he was born with this old soul and he knew he wasn’t going to be here for very long, so he just enjoyed every second that he was with us."
On January 14, a night when Brison was staying with his paternal grandparents, Kilcup said she and Brison's father received some frightening news that her son was in the hospital and was not breathing.
"At that time I thought he was having trouble breathing because he had a cold," she added. "Twenty minutes into the drive to the hospital, we finally got a hold of Brian's (Brison's father's) mother who had been with him. She said, 'Hold on, the doctor's coming out now.' All I heard was the doctor say 'Um' and then the phone just went dead.
"I knew then that he [Brison] didn’t make it. If he would’ve made it, they would’ve said so."
After receiving a call back, it was confirmed that her son, Brison Roger Hathaway, had died atBeth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth, Massachusetts.
He was just four months and two days old.
"We were destroyed," Kilcup recalled. "We were barely breathing –- literally emotional wrecks. I cant even describe what it was like. It was just absolute devastation. It was the most surreal feeling to know we really did lose him."
While she yearns to know what happened to her baby, Kilcup said Brison's doctors suspect he died as a result of sudden infant death syndrome, and that an official autopsy has not yet been completed.
2 days later, Kilcup said she placed her and Brison's hospital bracelets in her wallet, in an effort to keep him in her memory.

"It was a little thing I could carry with me, so I could pull them out and remember that day," she added. "If was ever having a hard time, or a bad day, I would pull them out, think of him, and the day he was born."
On July 25, Kilcup said she returned home from work with her mother and sleeping daughter in the car, whom she carried inside and put to bed.

When she returned to her car for her belongings, she said she noticed her wallet was no longer there.
"I was crying because I immediately knew the bracelets were in there," Kilcup recalled. "I felt guilty and I felt dumb for leaving my wallet with those in it.
She has since posted a plea for the wallet's return on her Facebook page, where it has received over 3,000 shares.
"I never real thought about who it could’ve been because all I want is the bracelets back," Kilcup said. "Whether it was a group of kids, or an individual, they’ve had to have heard my story. My best guess is someone who knows something about it has heard of it."

Amber Rose under fire for teaching her son the word 'Conversate'
Amber Rose has been teaching her 2-year-old sonSebastian some English vocabulary. Now her son's vocabulary includes the word "conversate," thanks to mommy.
Amber proudly posted her lesson on Instagram, then removed it after a flurry of criticism.
She asked him " Hey Sebastian, what's the new word we learned this week?"
He said "Conversate".
Then she asked him what it meant and he said "To engage in conversation".
Trolls came for her, telling her how bad she was to teach her son wrong grammar.
Amber was pissed at all the criticism on social media, telling friends she knows "conversate" is slang, but here's the thing, people speak slang! So she says ... what, people aren't supposed to teach kids words like "fleek," "turnt," etc?
Sebastian's actually a little brainiac, he can already name the planets and identify types of dinosaurs.
So she is doing a good job.
She has since taken down the video from her IG page.

Ben Affleck threatens lawsuit as he denies claims he cheated with his family's Nanny
Ben Affleck is so angry over allegations he's dating his children's nanny, that he's threatening a lawsuit.
A rep for Affleck calls the US Weekly story, which claims Affleck and the nanny, Christine Ouzounian, began dating after Ben and wife Jennifer Garner split but before they announced their divorce, "complete garbage and full of lies."
"The story is complete garbage and full of lies," Affleck's publicist Brooke Blumberg says.
"You shouldn't be able to hide behind 'blind sources.' We are considering legal options."
Us claims Affleck and Christine Ouzounian became close when she was hired as a nanny for Affleck and Garner's three children, Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel.
According to the magazine, Affleck and Garner were separated when Ouzounian was hired this spring.
The story is sourced to "multiple sources", none of whom are named. In fact, the only attributed quote comes in the form of a denial from Affleck's team.
Affleck's rep wouldn't go into detail about what specific legal actions they are considering, saying it's in the very early stages, as the story only went live Wednesday morning.

Choi! Someone launched a GoFundMe to help Meek Mill record his Drake diss response
An eager Meek Mill fan launched a GoFundMe page yesterday to help get Meek's response to Drizzy rolling.
Meek has yet to respond to Drizzy or even Safaree for that matter which is probably why this fan launched the page but this donation page wants to change that ASAP, as they state that they want to help Meek pay for the diss track.
The goal for the page was set at $3000, but after 18 hours, they had only raised a total of 10 bucks by 2 people.
It turns out the GoFundMe page has already been taken down. Lol.
However, someone else launched another GoFundMe account for Meek. The goal this time was $5000 and after 14 hours they had only raised $5, by 1 person. Lol.

Man butchers friend in Akwa Ibom Graphic content
Residents of Itu Road, Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital, on Wednesday, woke to a horror sight, following the murder of a middle-aged barber by a close family friend and supposed boss.
Steven Onowa, a graduate of Federal Polytechnic Oko, from Anambra State, was later a
rrested by men of the Akwa Ibom State police command over the murder of Daniel Bassey Solomon, his close friend and barbing salon employee.
It was that Onowa, who tried to escape after allegedly butchering his friend and dismembering him, was arrested with the aid of a GSM tracking device employed by officers and men of the Force.
Explaining the incident which led to the gruesome murder of the said barber, who hailed from Uruan Local Government Area, the state Police Commissioner, Mr Gabriel Achong, said the culprit confessed to have invited his friend to his house and offered him a drink.
The suspect, who confessed to the crime, said he had called his victim on phone for urgent meeting in his house, where he drugged his Orijin beer.
When the late Dan arrived, his killer entertained him with the drugged beer and it was not long before the deceased dosed off, giving his killer the opportunity to tie him, before stabbing him to death.
The suspect’s landlord, Mr Celestine George, who spoke to journalists at the police headquarters, Ikot Akpan Abia, said the police was called after the incident was reported and he had to put a call to the suspect and demanded for the balance of his rent.
He disclosed that such close relationship led to the suspect opening a barbing salon for his victim along Urua Ekpa Road.
When interrogated by newsmen, Onowa confessed to the crime and claimed to have killed his victim for daring to raise his voice at him over his N750, 000 he had refused to account for.
“We reported the matter to SARS about two years ago and he agreed on a timeframe to pay up the N750, 000. Till today, he has refused to pay the money, so when I invited him to my house that day, he started shouting at and getting angry with me, so I killed him. I am not dealing in body parts. I only cut him to pieces to be able to carry him,” the suspect added.

“At about 3.00 a.m, I decided to kill him.
“I gave him the first cut, the guy got up; I gave him a second one and he died and I butchered him to parts,” the suspect confessed. The commissioner, who confirmed that a quarrel had been on for the past two years between the ‘butcher’ and his victim, even as their case file was still with the SARS department of the command, said the police were successful in tracking down the culprit through the assistance of his landlord, who kept contacting him on phone, as the police kept tracking the calls.
“After stabbing him to death, he used matchet to chop off his hands, head and two legs. He packed the parts in a sack, pulled it out of the house to the major street of Itu Road.”Apparently tired of evacuating the corpse to a safer place, he was said to have abandoned the deceased in a bag, removed the vital parts, including his two hands, which he dumped in a place along School Road and the head, which he hid in abandoned dump site on the same Itu Road.
The suspect, who confessed to the crime, said he had called his victim on phone for urgent meeting in his house, where he drugged his Orijin beer.

“The suspect said he was about travelling and that he was with the balance which he would pay me before travelling. I then asked him to meet me at Itam junction, within the premises of a church where I had already told the SARS men to lay ambush for him.
“I kept calling him until he arrived at the premises of the church where I tricked him to. He came in a car with three armed mobile policemen and I hinted the men of the SARS formation, who had laid ambush for him within the premises and he was apprehended and handcuffed.
“The three mobile policemen were eventually overpowered by the SARS men and the suspect was arrested and taken to the police headquarters at Ikot Akpanabia,” he said. What annoyed the angry residents of Itu Road the most, according to a neighbour, “is the fact that the suspect, apart from being a close friend of the deceased, was also having an affair with one of the late Dan’s sisters.”
He disclosed that such close relationship led to the suspect opening a barbing salon for his victim along Urua Ekpa Road.

Dead people voted in Ohafia, says APGA candidate
Chief David Onuoha-Bourdex, the Abia-North senatorial candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, in the April legislative election, told the election petitions tribunal sitting in Umuahia that dead people voted in Ohafia.
Onuoha-Bourdex, who stated this while testifying before the tribunal on Tuesday, said that the results of the election which favoured the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Senator Mao Ohuabunwa, showed that dead people voted for him.
The APGA candidate merged his petition with that of ex-Gov. Orji Uzor Kalu of the Progressive Peoples Alliance, PPA, to challenge the victory of Ohuabunwa.
Onuoha-Bourdex, who was cross-examined by the respondents’ lawyers, including Donald De-Wigwe, lead counsel for Ohuabunwa, and Livy Uzoukwu, counsel for the Independent National Electoral Commission, said that INEC also confirmed that there were widespread irregularities in the zone during the election.
He said that the committee set up by the Resident Electoral Commissioner for the state discovered that the outcome of the election was heavily manipulated in the favour of the PDP’s candidate.
He accused INEC of colluding with the PDP to rig the election, the APGA candidate argued that if the votes were properly counted, he would score a total of 37,115 votes against his opponent’s 28, 800.
